By using Family Check-In, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
Service description
Family Check-In is a Roku channel that displays calendar events and chores from your Google Calendar. The app provides:
- Display of calendar events and tasks
- Chore tracking and completion updates
- Weather information and daily agenda
- Multi-user family organization features
Google Calendar access
To use Family Check-In, you must grant the app access to your Google Calendar. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your Google account
- All activity that occurs through your account
- The accuracy of calendar data you create or modify
You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account settings.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Family Check-In only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You will not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or related systems
- Use the service in any way that could damage or impair its availability
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
Subscription and billing
If applicable, Family Check-In may offer paid subscriptions through Roku Pay:
- Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled
- No refunds for partial billing periods
- You can cancel anytime through your Roku account
- Pricing and features subject to change with notice
Service availability
We strive to keep Family Check-In available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable due to:
- Maintenance and updates
- Technical issues beyond our control
- Third-party service disruptions (Google Calendar API, weather services)
Limitation of liability
Family Check-In is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:
- Lost data or calendar information
- Missed events or notifications
- Errors in weather or calendar data from third-party services
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Third-party services
Family Check-In integrates with Google Calendar and weather services. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to Family Check-In for violations of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion.
